DEEP REST
A transformative half-day retreat for body, mind and energy
More than a few hours of calm. Deep Rest is a guided morning of Kriya yoga, breath and meditation that brings body, mind and energy back to stillness. Some come for a single, much-needed reset; others for a practice they return to again and again. Wherever you begin, you're gently guided the whole way. A morning where nothing is asked of you, nothing you need to know and you can simply stop 'doing'.

HOW IT WORKS
You can't force your way into rest — you're guided into it, through practice. At the heart of the morning is Kundalini Kriya Yoga, which works not only with body and mind but with your energy, clearing and gently awakening the vital energy (prana) that moves through you. As the energy settles, so does the nervous system, and real rest becomes possible. Grounded in presence, not performance — you don't need to know or believe anything, only to be led.
Because this is a practice, not a treatment, what you experience here is yours to return to. The retreat opens the door and gives you the first tools; whether you keep walking through it is your own choice.
HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT FROM A "DAY OFF"
A day off or a spa afternoon hands you calm from the outside (physically), and it tends to fade on the way home. This retreat brings you presence first, through real practice, gentle inner work so rest and clarity rise from within — where they are more lasting.
-
Personally guided from start to finish
-

-
A small, intimate group to ensure a safe space — no performing, no display

You may arrive scattered and "half-here". You leave grounded, present, and rested in a way that comes not from doing nothing, but from finally being here. Clearer, connected, more yourself than when you walked in. Whether this stays a one-time reset or becomes the start of something you keep practicing is entirely up to you.

YOUR TEACHERS
Rocinta Mohan
Rocinta was born and raised in the Netherlands, to Surinamese parents, with Indian roots — East and West woven together from the very start. After more than twelve years working in corporate marketing/sales and building her own business, she followed a deeper calling: two years ago she build her way into becoming a full-time yoga teacher and retreat guide. While she practiced many styles of Yoga for the past 10+ years, it wasn't until 5 years that she found a deeper connection to Yoga through her master Yoga teacher in India and since has continuously been in training in India, to stay close to the source of these ancient practices. She found that the practices brought tremendous transformation to her life. Her teaching is the bridge itself — a deep-rooted connection to the ancient traditions and yogic practices of the East, and a real feel for the way we live in the West — carrying these practices across, with honesty and understanding.
Luccas Pessoa e Silva
Luccas (also Rocinta's husband) is originally from Brazil and raised in Germany, he came to these practices from inside a demanding working life — 15+ years in the corporate world before founding his own company. He knows what it is like to never fully stop: what the body, mind and energy carry when the pace doesn't let up, and how much it can take to finally pause. From that lived experience, he helps others give themselves permission to stop, and to let the mind grow quiet. An innovative mind with a deep-rooted practice in the ancient traditions, he guides kriya yoga, mantra meditation and kirtan. It was during a sabbatical in Rishikesh, studying under his teacher Shailandra, that kirtan and kriyas found him. Like Rocinta, he keeps returning to India to deepen his practice.
