14-Day Yoga Retreat in Rishikesh India

Life flows when you live your Dharma...
Anahata Yoga invites you to its first Dharma Retreat: a 14-day immersion into authentic yogic living, spiritual practice, and inner alignment at the source of Yoga — Rishikesh, Northern India.

Dharma, translated from Sanskrit, refers to the direction your life naturally wants to move in (law of nature), in what feels aligned, meaningful, effortless, and true to your inner being. It is often described as your soul’s path or purpose. Dharma can also be understood as sacred duty, not something burdensome, but the living expression of your highest self in every role you inhabit. At its core, Dharma is about living in alignment with Satya, or truth. When we live in alignment with truth, life begins to flow.

This retreat is curated for those who feel the call to live more in alignment with who they truly are, for those longing to connect deeper to their true nature. It is an invitation to pause, to listen, and to explore the deeper questions of life not through the mind, but through lived experience.

Over the course of these days, you will experience ashram-style living, practice traditional yoga from the source, explore the power of mantras, meditation, yoga philosophy, and sacred rituals, enjoy nourishing Ayurvedic meals and immerse yourself in the spiritual depth of India - including visits to sacred sites and temples in Rishikesh and Northern India.

April 1 – April 14 14 days to begin walking a Dharmic path.

WHERE THE RETREAT TAKES PLACE
The Dharma Retreat is based in Rishikesh, Northern India, nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas, only steps away from the sacred Ganga River. Rishikesh is known as the spiritual heart of India, a place where yoga is not practiced as an activity, but lived as a way of life.

You will stay at a dedicated yoga and Ayurveda retreat space, created specifically for inner growth, study, and healing. People have called this place:"A home away from home". The rhythm of daily life here is inspired by ashram-style living, where yoga is understood as a way of life rather than an activity. Here, conscious living extends beyond the mat, into daily routines, traditional practices and simple actions. Caring for the environment and others and embracing simplicity are part of the experience.
WHO THIS RETREAT IS FOR & WHAT TO EXPECT
This retreat welcomes everyone with an open heart, and those who feel drawn to authentic yoga and inner exploration. The rhythm of the days is intentionally simple and supportive, allowing space for stillness, reflection, and deeper connection. While there is time to rest and enjoy the surroundings, the heart of this journey lies in inner transformation rather than leisure or sightseeing. No prior yoga experience is needed, but you should be able to sit and stand without help. While sitting on the floor is recommended, sitting on a chair is also acceptable if needed.
THE YOGA WE WILL PRACTICE
During this retreat, we practice traditional Himalayan yoga, rooted in ancient wisdom and lived experience. The practices include Hatha Yoga, Kriya Kundalini Yoga, Pranayama, Vedic mantra chanting, meditation, and stillness practices. Together, these techniques support clarity, balance, and a deeper connection to your inner energy and awareness. The teachings gently bridge spiritual insight with everyday life, inviting integration rather than escape.
The retreat is guided by Rocinta Mohan, with selected yoga sessions led by a true Himalayan Yoga master from India with over 25 years of experience.
